ACA Services

Food Program

Since 1981, ACA has been a sponsor of the USDA Child and Adults Care Food Program (CACFP), which provides monetary reimbursement to in-home child care providers for serving nutritious meals. Participants in the program also receive nutrition education materials and training in planning and serving safe, nutritious meals to those in their care.

Childcare Business Products:

ACA has a variety of childcare products and resources available for purchase. ACA’s Kids Kare Calendar, receipt pads, books, and informational products are designed specifically for childcare providers. The quality and practicality of our products are recognized by providers across the nation.
Nutrition and Fitness Programming

ACA provides materials, training and guidance for delivery of the USDA’s “Nutrition and Wellness Tips for Young Children: Provider Handbook for the Child and Adult Care Food Program” and the Center for Disease Control’s “Let’s Move” physical activity curricula.
Provider Education and Training

ACA provides education and training to childcare providers both to meet licensing requirements and to provide valuable information to ensure safe and healthy environments for the children in their care.
MNsure Enrollment and Application Assistance

ACA provides in-person and telephone assessments by a MNsure Certified Navigators to determine potential eligibility for MNsure plans and programs as well as hands-on assistance with the application and enrollment.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at: http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
